Octoombas, also known as Octogoombas, are a variant of Goombas that appear in Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel. They are common enemies in the two games. They can easily be defeated with a spin or jumping on top of them, leaving behind three Star Bits or three coins respectively. They are blue with yellow spots and have a light on top of their head, similar to an Angler Fish. They also have the ability to shoot rocks from their mouths.
