Galoombas are a type of Goomba that appear in Super Mario World and return in Super Mario 3D World.
In Super Mario World (1990) they were called 'Goombas.' They will float down upon the enemy (in a parachute or bubble,) and try to hit the target (or they could walk across the ground normally). Unlike Goombas from before, once jumped on, they flipped over and would become a projectile that Mario could pick up and throw.
In Super Mario 3D World (2013) they were made to be like basic Goombas, however, when you jump on their heads they will fall over onto their head and the player must then jump onto them once more to kill them. Or a simple ground pound would work. Also in super Mario 3D World (2013) they have a big Variation. it can only be found in the Big Galoomba Blockade level.
they now also Appear in super Mario 3D World + bowser's fury (2021) in the same levels as Before, they Behave the same way as normal.
